By any chance does anybody know if these are the exact same discs as previously released DVD sets?
Or are there any added features or scenes? I have the individual DVD seasons from seasons 1-6, and I've noticed there are a lot of additional scenes on the Netflix episodes than aren't on my DVD sets. I cant seem to find any unboxings, photos or reviews on the newer release of this box set. I'm just trying to determine how much of a wow factor the new set has to make me go out and spend an extra $50 instead of just continuing my Netflix viewing. The Office DVD Complete Series Box Set. The Office: The Complete Series includes all 201 episodes on 33 discs that you can watch back-to-back and uninterrupted.

I’m pretty sure these are the same old discs that have always been available. I refuse to buy this set unless they release this on Blu-ray.

My favorite TV comedy series along with threes company. Probably not going to happen. You’re better off doing what I did: buying this set and swapping out the seasons 5-9 DVDs with the Blu-rays. It really is a shame though. If Blu-ray had been a more popular format a few years sooner. Or if The Office has come out a few years later, it probably could’ve happened. (On a somewhat related note, I’m surprised 30 Rock or Parks and Rec never got ANY Blu-ray releases, so we Office fans should be lucky we have more than half the show on the format).
